When students gossip

I thought I'm spared from this thing called "students' gossip", but well, I guess being one of the young teachers there, I eventually got involved with these kids gossips.

It all started with me talking with Mr.HotStuff Shorty at the staff room. It was just a discussion about a school programme and we, of course were making a big joke out of the programme. Little did we realise, there were three male students looking at us, making up conclusions that we were "dating".

So, the next day, as I was correcting my students' books, in came the three boys...

Student A : Teacher, kami berabis cari teacher kemarin sana bilik guru. Rupa-rupanya teacher berdating ah...hehehe...

Student B : Ya oh..siok lagi tu bercerita...berdua-duaan...sepadan oh kamu teacher!

Student C : Malu-malu lagi teacher mau mengaku hehehe...

Aku terblur sebentar. "Cikgu dating? Sama siapa cigu mau dating? Teda pun cigu hensem di sini ni!!"

Student B : Eleh...pura-pura lagi...cikgu pakai spek tu bah...

Huh? Cigu pakai spek setahu sia suda kawin...

Student A : Alaaa...cigu pakai spek yang pendek2 tu bah....

LAAAAAAAAA.....

They thought I was going out with Mr.HotStuff Shorty!!! Yalah...memang kiut bah he namun he pendek from me hahahahah...luculah how kids tend to make conclusions...TOSSSSS

My Crib supports Earth Hour

Our house was one of the few houses that supports Earth hour. It's kinda nice 2 sit outside (sa malas buka grill) and just sit sambil dgr bunyi anjing menyalak. Hopefully our msg 4 a better earth will be heard. I heart my world.

Prayer to the Holy Spirit

Holy Spirit, you who make me see everything and show me the way to reach my ideal. You who give me the divine gift to forgive and forget the wrong that is done to me and who are in all instances of my life with me. I, in this short dialogue want to thank you for everything and confirm once more that I never want to be separated from you no matter how great the material desires may be. I want to be with you and my loved ones in your perpetual glory. Amen.

This is my third invocation by means of this prayer. Until now, it never fails.

Breast Signs

It was immediately after Mass that this event happened. I was starving and I pestered my eldest bro to stopby at KFC Tanjung Aru to get something to go before we go to Aunt Flo's place.

Now, it has been ages since I went to KFC Tanjung Aru and suddenly I remembered that that particular franchise is animated by the deaf. So to order, we have to use sign language. Luckily I remembered how to order take-away and which meal set to point to. So my order was done and taken by the deaf staff.

While waiting for my order to be ready, I met with Koko Eric's sister and we chatted for a while. She asked me how to order, so I explained to her a bit despite me myself being blur.

Koko Eric's sister : Macamana kita mo order lau take away ah?
Cynta : Anuu...ko angkat2 la kunun tangan ko begini...(gesturing people carrying plastic bag)...dia tau juga tuh...heheheheh....
Koko Eric sister : Ohhh...lau sia buat begini pun okay bah kan? (gesturing people carrying plastic and small people walking)
Cynta : Yah, yah! Dia tau juga tuh!
Koko Eric sister : Lau kita mo minta "breast" ja macamana? (paused to think)
Cynta : Aaahhhmmmmm...(paused to think as well)

We looked at each other.

Cynta : Kita tunjuk....(whispers) nenen.....
Koko Eric sister : (sambil tapuk2) Gini? (gestures to her breasts)
Cynta : Kikikikikikik...mengkali la...cuba try...

Then my order arrived and I took the food. I stayed just in case Koko Eric's sis needed extra signs. So she did all that we've discussed...including the breast signs.

Nasib tu urang understand ni...

Ngamlah bah...if you only want the chicken breast, u just point to your "breast" a.k.a. your chest.

Girlfriends Day Out

Today is Melly's birthday...
She's 18 again....and again....and again...
To celebrate her eighteenness, Al and I went out with her for a mild retail therapy and little did she know that we all had another surprise up on our sleeves muahahahahahaha

Me and a couple of mutual friends planned to give her a little surprise party. Been planning and editing it for a few days...

Nasib she didn't perasan...
