The Day the World Stopped to mourn a Passing Star
His death brought the world to an abrupt halt
His memorial caught more attention than the deadly virus, economic downturn, war...
Yesterday was the day when the world stopped for a brief hour
His send-off was the most memorable, poignant, emotional
It breaks even the hardest of hearts
He was just another man in the mirror
But his contribution to the music world trancends barriers
He lived to faced judgment from those who can't understand
What it means to be unique
He is like a wishing star
Gone so soon and so far
Yet we all know that he is safe somewhere
In the hands of God, he rests
